Residents founded HPPI in 1974 to protest the Expressway flattening our streets. We continue to facilitate historic preservation of our homes and beautification of our public spaces. We advocate to the city for matters that impact us, and host fun gatherings for neighbors.
All homeowners within our boundaries are invited to join—south of Swann Ave and west to Rome, bordered to the south and east by Bayshore Blvd.

Sat 5th: Annual Home Tour ~ Tickets go on sale at the start of Nov. Come step inside six very special historic Hyde Park homes. Sips, delicious bites, and live music along the way.
Sat 12th: It’s A Wonderful Life in Hyde Park Holiday Party @ The Phillips’s home - 824 S Orleans ~ All HPPI members are invited to an evening of old-time glamour. Wonderful food, drinks, live music, and a few festive surprises. Old-fashioned Christmas dress.
Sun 13th: Carriage Rides ~ Bring your family for a magical ride through our twinkling streets. (Exclusively for HPPI members.) Signup emails for time slots will be sent out in November.
